Praise for Wreck This Journal“Not gonna lie, this is probably the coolest journal you’ll ever see. . . . Wreck This Journal is here to inspire you.” —Buzzfeed“Wreck This Journal encourages you to stop fretting about quality and start relishing the artistic process.” —Oprah.com“Smith’s journal is about destruction, asking readers to poke through pages, submerge them, attach photos and then deface them, and essentially revel in our ‘mistakes.’ The finished product—crumpled pages and sometimes doubled in size—is itself a masterpiece.” —BuzzFeed, Journals That Will Give Your Brain A Workout“I love this book and the playful way that Keri Smith teaches people the act of creating by putting you right on the spot. Wreck This Journal is a fun, interactive book that you will want to work in every day. To create is to destroy, and this book delivers.” —D*I*Y Planner“No matter where you start or where you end, there’s always something interesting to do. . . . The book is an exploration into creativity.” —Buffalo News“The ideal gift for artistic minded people, or not, for that matter, as what I love about this book is that there is no right or wrong. Neat, messy, colorful, dark, you can wreck however you want.” —Hawwa, etc.“I’ve kept journals before, but have never written in them as frequently as I write in my Wreck This Journal. It is great for inspiration; it gives you tasks that are thought-provoking rather than pages of endless blank lines. It is a great way to pass the time and a great gift for anyone, no matter how young or old.” —Teen Ink“Wreck this Journal makes a great gift for someone who’s going through a stressful time, needs a form of release, or anyone who could use a few minutes of fun.” —Jactionary“Wreck This Journal encourages you to experiment and have fun. . . . Flip to any page in the book and you will find a prompt: fun prompts, destructive prompts, creative prompts to help your creative juices flow.” —Craft Critique“Calling all bookworms and creative doodlers, Wreck This Journal is the perfect book to spruce up your summer. . . . It’s a wonderful stress reliever and brings out the inner childish behavior we are so often told to get over. You won’t be disappointed.” —Kristine Marie Babauta, Marianas VarietyPraise for Keri Smith“Keri Smith may well be the self-help guru this DIY generation deserves.” —The Believer“A conceptual artist and author luring kids into questioning the world and appreciating every smell, texture and mystery in it.” —TIME Magazine Keri Smith is a bestselling author, illustrator, and thinker. To create is to destroy. Happy wrecking!

Perfect for anxiety! I really LOVE this journal! It’s everything your not supposed to do, to a book! But you can do it to this one! Favorite page: rub dirt on this page! That was awesome!!!! It’s wonderful for my anxiety! I’d suggest it to anyone who has anxiety!! There’s a subcontious relief that happens! Instead of following all the rules in life this is a personal outlet of “wrongdoing”. LOL!!! Love love love! Definitely getting the rest of the series!!!!Granny loves it I love to journal but I find myself running out of topics... In the past many of my journals were just gripe books... Not a legacy I wish to leave... I see several other reviews talked about purchasing it for their kids or grandkids,. Not me I'm 60 years old and I bought it for myself... I love it!... I think my kids think I've gone mad sometimes when they see me totally around or setting it on fire or something... LOL... I had to grow up awfully fast as a kid... Not complaining it is what it is... But this is a perfect book to give yourself an excuse to do the things that maybe you couldn't do when you were younger... I have bought my book use due to financial reasons... But I have no complaints there either it was in great condition... I ended up buying several more of her books I should go ahead and reivew but they're all good... I haven't got to the end yet... Kind of jumped around in a couple more for other books too that Miss Smith wrote... My husband has cancer and is homebound... But we find ourselves enjoying some of the activities together put tickly out of her books scavenger hunt... One of the book's you supposed to bury a page or hide a page in the neighbor's yard... I'm so looking forward to that my neighbors think I've gone mad anyway... If that's activity involves the police I will post a footnote as to how it went lol... I have no shame in saying that I am quite an adult at least in body maybe not in spirit... And I love this book... It's a permission book to do what the heck you want to do anyway without really hurting anybody... I am a bit envious of something creativity I have seen on Pinterest... I suggest you maybe check it out a little bit prior to trashing in your book... Gives you a little bit more idea what can be done Thinking Out of the Box Etc... Not wanting to be outdone on think of a way to dispose of this page today I set it on fire LOL just a bit of the page no fire department involved... I've been terrified of fire since I was a kid... It was some kind of a release of that fear for me... My sister had a bad fire that I lost my nephew in... I was just a kid myself so I'm sure my fear of fires quite understandable... This book is long time coming to me I wish I would have had something like this years ago but Grateful I found found it now... And I'm a neat freak by the way... If your lease bit interested in writing ..keeping a journal... Or want to be looking quite mad to the neighbors as you hide a page from a book in their yard..get it.. not for your kids.. not for your grandkids but for yourself or maybe for granny... I have no doubt any free-spirited person would enjoy ithighly recommend My daughter bought this for herself and she loves it. She takes it everywhere with us. It becomes a family thing so we can see what we can do. Like one page is walk on the book, another would be to put as many of those little stickers that gk on fruit I. The book so them we are on the hunt for those. It's a very creative book and I think she really likes it cause it's everything you have been told to never do with books. It's great. Would be a wonderful gift to others. I highly recommend it. Hours of fun and self expression.
